Gabon Infini PFP Launched
August 29, 2026: Gabon Infini is a PFP initiative led by the Government of Gabon and local leadership to advance conservation, community development, and climate resilience across one of the planet’s most important ecological strongholds, home to more than half the world’s remaining forest elephants, a quarter of its western lowland gorillas, and rich marine life found nowhere else. Over the next decade, up to US$200 million will be mobilized for Gabon to protect and manage its terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems while strengthening livelihoods for communities in and around these landscapes.
