Vacancy: Project Manager, Conservation Finance and Community Development (Position is now closed)

Position Summary
You’ll join a top-notch team and innovative partnership committed to community economic development and the durable protection of millions of hectares of land and ocean. The Project Manager will work within technical project finance for permanence (PFP) assessment and planning teams, responsible for internal organization, driving accountability and best practices, and managing the timeline toward the closing of large-scale conservation agreements. The Project Manager will report to the Global Portfolio Lead and is generally accountable to the Team Lead of each PFP project, may also be asked to provide ad-hoc technical or administrative support necessary to ensure the success of the projects.
Responsibilities
Project Management (80%)
Develop and oversee project plans that result in the successful completion of large-scale, multi-stakeholder conservation deals around the world. Activities include, but are not limited to:
Develop workplans, budgets, and personnel charts
Coordinate Enduring Earth staff and resources
Professionalize the structure and operation of large and diverse teams
Assume accountability for internal and external project deadlines
Ensure clear and professional communication with external stakeholders
Knowledge Management (10%):
Develop and maintain standardized templates, tools and processes that can support the project management of future deals.
Identify, administer and/or support communication mechanisms to share information on common areas of interest.
Participate in, and/or lead, communities of practice and workshops promoting best practices in project management.
Ad-Hoc Support (10%):
Independently identify opportunities to provide technical and administrative support to project teams.
Develop knowledge and skills in a wide range of topics, including financial modeling, conservation science, and community economic development.
Qualifications
5 to 8+ years of experience managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and facilitate collaboration across multiple partners, institutions, and international cultures to achieve shared goals.
An ability to learn new information, synthesize that information, identify key themes, and convert to action-oriented tasks.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (ideally in English and Spanish).
Strong time management and organizational skills including experience managing multiple project flows.
Experience with multi-party deals (analysis, development, negotiation, etc.).
Experience working with PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software.
Experience in a consulting and/or investment firm, multi-lateral agency, or a global development contractor.

Compensation and Benefits
